I am a data scientist with a background in Computational Biology. I am passionate about all things data, but add in a twist of improving patient outcomes through cutting-edge discoveries in healthcare tech. A recent graduate with a pertinent mixture of analytical and communication skills, I am excited to make an impact at the forefront of data-driven solutions.
Having a long record of volunteering with various non-formal education, health, and human rights organisations, I believe in using my capabilities as a force for good in a deliberately diverse and inclusive working environment. I am driven to do work which would improve the lives of people. I also hope to inspire more people from under-represented groups in STEM, as I have been inspired by amazing scientists throughout my work and studies.
Part of this idealism stems from the fact that I owe my education to the generosity of merit and need based scholarships for most of my academic career. My goal is one day to help two bright university students, showing the same unreserved support that my sponsor showed me while I was pursuing my degree at UCL.
