I am a biological data scientist commonly known as a computational biologist. My interest span multiple fields and have taken me to Lausanne, where I am currently pursuing a PhD in Computational Biology at the EPFL. My work lies at the intersection of ecology, evolution, and microbiome genomics. I am sifting through vast genomic databases, trying to understand the evolutionary and ecological processes that shape microbial communities. This further draws me into the link between prokaryotic and eukaryotic life, and the role of microbes in the evolution of complex life.
